Meet Gillian.

Gillian Makowski M.A. CCC-SLP

Hi, I’m Gillian. I am a Pennsylvania state licensed and American Speech & Hearing Association (ASHA) certified speech-language pathologist with 18 years of experience treating pediatric communication disorders. I received my Bachelor’s degree in psychology and linguistics from the University of Delaware in 2004 and went on to receive my Master of Arts degree in communication sciences and disorders from Temple University in 2006. As a former school-based clinician, I have treated children with a variety of speech & language disorders including but not limited to articulation, phonology, apraxia, stuttering, cluttering, expressive language, receptive language, dyslexia, voice, selective mutism, AAC, and oromyofunctional disorders.

I am thrilled to be able to provide individualized therapy for your child and have a special love for helping children with delayed early language skills, speech sound disorders, and fluency disorders.

I am passionate about working with families to include them in every step of the process from the initial evaluation, to developing a treatment plan, through dismissal. I am looking forward to working with you!
